Web and Digital Accessibility
The University of Nevada, Reno and the School of Medicine are committed to ensuring the accessibility of its information technology resources and services as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (504). "Accessible" means that individuals with disabilities are able to independently acquire the same information, engage in the same interactions, and enjoy the same services within the same time frame as individuals without disabilities, with substantially equivalent ease of use.
The rules for accessibility compliance cover all web pages, all PDF files and word documents, and all emails that are sent to distribution lists.
