Networking for HIV Care

Overview

The 26th annual Autumn Update will feature expert faculty presenting on the latest topics in the treatment and prevention of HIV, with the goal of providing practitioners with the knowledge, skills, and resources they need to continue to deliver quality care to patients infected and affected by HIV. 

We look forward to another great program and to seeing you all in beautiful Lake Tahoe.

Learning Objectives

Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:

  • Recognize key challenges in the care of older persons with HIV (OPWH) including the high burden of comorbidities and emergence of geriatric syndromes
  • Identify methods for screening, identification, and management of age-related conditions among OPWH
  • Describe the potential role of geriatric approaches to improve the care of OPWH
  • Review key strategies for designing a new ART regimen in the setting of antiretroviral resistance and prior treatment experience.
  • Discuss new clinical data that supports ART regimen choices in treatment experienced persons with ART resistance.
  • Discuss new antiretroviral therapy options, including parenteral agents, for use in persons with multi-class antiretroviral resistance.
  • Discuss the relationship between wellness and burnout
  • Challenge the effectiveness of coping strategies
  • Experience the Kelee and Kelee meditation (including a run-through of the 5 minute Kelee meditation)

Who Should Attend

Physicians, PAs, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, mental health providers, public health professionals, administrators, all members of the care team and other care providers are encouraged to attend.

Early bird: $300  (on or before October 1, 2025)
Late Reg: $325 (October 2 - October 24, 2025)
Includes two breakfasts, one lunch, CME/CE certificate, and access to electronic handouts.
