The Nevada Physician Wellness Coalition was developed by physicians in Nevada for physicians. The coalition is a completely independent Nevada non-profit 501c3 organization. Our mission is to address the devastation and negative community impact of physician burnout and suicide.
Physician burnout has become an epidemic and the number of physicians that have depression is significant along with the number of physician suicides. This topic has not been widely discussed and many physicians are still unaware of the problem and what options exist to help support them.
Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:
Colleen Camenish, MBA, Executive Director, Nevada Physician Wellness Coalitio
Misty Vaughan Allen, MA, Suicide Prevention Coordinator, Nevada Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public & Behavioral Health, Office of Suicide Prevention
For questions concerning the online evaluation or your certificate, please contact our office at (775) 784-4791 or email us at cme@med.unr.edu.
