35th Annual Trends in Cardiovascular Medicine Conference
Overview
Renown Health is proud to announce the 35th Annual Trends in Cardiovascular Medicine Conference in beautiful Olympic Valley, California from October 17 through October 19, 2025.
This yearly conference provides insight and practical tips on integrating scientific evidence into clinical practice. The conference will include lectures, case studies, and comprehensive reviews on a range of chronic and co-morbid conditions.
We have designed the conference to include pertinent and timely lectures on a variety of topics related to primary care medicine. We have also designated plenty of time to enjoy the beauty of our surroundings, and to connect, converse, and decompress outside of the clinic setting. We hope our participants will join us to expand our minds and nurture our souls, with the common goal of improving the quality of care we all provide to our patients and communities.
New this year, a Friday night product theater dinner sponsored by BridgeBio, the event is free, but please RSVP on your registration form if you plan to attend.
Who Should Attend
This three-day continuing medical education program is designed for the primary care physician/provider, internal medicine physician, cardiovascular specialist, advanced practice provider, pharmacist, nurse, and all other physicians and healthcare professionals interested in the most recent advances and current established guidelines for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases or problems associated with heart disease.
Registration
This is an in-person CME event.
Registration fee includes CE/CME credit, Friday welcome reception, continental breakfasts, break service each day, and Saturday evening keynote and dinner.
There is a sponsored product theater dinner on Friday night, and all attendees are invited to attend free of charge. Please RSVP when you register.
Spouses and guests are also cordially invited to attend the Saturday evening dinner/keynote presentation at an additional charge of $100.00 per person.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received by October 1, 2025 will receive a full refund less a $20 cancellation fee. Cancellations after September 23, 2025 are non-refundable.

Learning Objectives
Following participation in this course, participants should be able to:
- Identify hypertension as a main, modifiable cardiovascular risk factor
- Recognize main indications and contraindications of renal denervation
- List first line treatment options for hypertension
- Describe the health benefits of whole-food plant-based nutrition, specifically with respect to cardiovascular disease and modifiable risk factors
- Discuss our ethical obligations as medical professionals and how they relate to nutrition counseling and role modeling
- Discuss strategies to implement incremental change in ourselves and in others
- Identify emerging therapies and advanced interventions—both surgical and pharmacological—for obesity and metabolic disease, with a focus on their impact on cardiovascular outcomes
- Discuss key aspects of preoperative cardiovascular risk assessment and postoperative care in patients undergoing metabolic bariatric surgery
- Describe the approaches, technical considerations, and cardiovascular implications of various metabolic bariatric
surgery procedures - Understand that a women's cardiovascular risk increases significantly in perimenopause and menopause
- Understand how HRT modifies a woman's cardiovascular risk
- Describe the health benefits of whole-food plant-based nutrition, specifically with respect to cardiovascular disease
and modifiable risk factors - Discuss our ethical obligations as medical professionals and how they relate to nutrition counseling and role modeling
- Discuss strategies to implement incremental change in ourselves and in others.
- Recognize the different syndromes characterized by chronic orthostatic intolerance
- Discuss how autonomic function testing may differentiate between different syndromes
of orthostatic intolerance - Describe the non-cardiac causes of chest pain, as explained by a gastroenterologist
