Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Self-Assessment Examination Credit Hours
MOC credit is only available for the Update, NOT the Pre-Conference. MOC credit hours only apply to individuals that are board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).
Self-Assessment activities are a specific type of CME activity that assists physicians in recognizing their current knowledge base in order to identify specific topics for gaining further knowledge. Registration for the 30th National Psychopharmacology Update allows you to take the Self-Assessment Exam for free. This Self-Assessment exam will allow board-certified individuals to apply the 24.00 CME credits available for the Psychopharmacology Update to the ABPN requirement for Self-Assessment activities. The exam consists of a 25 question online examination designed to help assess your level of knowledge regarding current psychiatric practice and psychopharmacology. The exam will be available until May 16, 2025.
The American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology has reviewed the National Psychopharmacology Update conference and has approved this program as part of a comprehensive Self-Assessment program, which is mandated by the ABMS as a necessary component of Maintenance of Certification. This activity provides a maximum of 24.00 Self-Assessment CME credits.
