LeBlanc Lab

Research in the Leblanc lab is focused on understanding the molecular mechanisms involved in triggering the contraction of cardiac and vascular smooth muscle cells, and the electrical activity and secretion of neurons and gland cells. We are working towards a better understanding of the mechanisms involved in causing pulmonary arterial hypertension and development of novel therapeutics to treat this disease.
