2023 Virtual Caregiver Conference


How to attend

Registration deadline for either session is Wednesday, January 18, 2023

Dates/Times (all sessions are via Zoom)

  • Wednesday, January 25, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Note: The session on HCQC Regulations will occur from 2 to 4 p.m.

  • Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m. Note: The session on HCQC Regulations will occur from 2 to 4 p.m.


  • Relationship-Centered Dementia Care and Social Supports
  • Best Practices: Guidance from Within
  • Building Resilience into Self-Care
  • HCQC Regulations: This will focus on creating person-centered care plans, reviewing the most commonly cited HCQC deficiencies, building a partnership with HCQC and cultural competency training criteria.

Who it's for

Directors, administrators and staff of homes for individual residential care, residential facilities for groups (group homes), assisted living facilities, nursing facilities and caregivers, nurses and social workers who work in the industry.


Registration is $45. All sales are final.

No refunds will be provided, including cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond our control. Registrants will not be able to change their registration selection(s) regardless of circumstances. However, a request to transfer your registration to another person may be submitted to no later than January 18, 2023, along with all registration and contact information for your replacement.

Scholarships generously provided by Helaine Greenberg. Criteria includes: healthcare workers and conference registrants who could not otherwise attend without financial support, reside in rural Nevada, work in small group home setting and/or are in their first year of the caregiving profession. A special registration code will be provided to those who are approved. Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, January 11, 2023. Conference registrations must be submitted using the code by January 18, 2023. See more on the scholarship application form.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

This program has been submitted to the Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Workers for up to 4.0 general CEUs and 2.0 Cultural Competency and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion CEUs; and to the Nevada Board of Examiners for Long-Term Care Administrators for 4.0 general CEUs and 2.0 regulations CEUs. The program has been approved by the Sanford Center for Aging at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine for up to 6.0 CEUs for Marriage & Family Therapists and Nursing.
