Tamara Martinez-Anderson is the director of admissions at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and leads a team of professionals who are committed to delivering mission-driven and inclusive programs to increase representation within the medical school application pool; educational programming to assist pre-med students in navigating the application process; and a competency-focused admission review and selection process.
Tamara has served for over 20 years in leadership roles in admissions, marketing, recruitment and student services at law schools, in STEM-focused programs and graduate nursing. She is passionate about guiding and supporting prospective students as they pursue professional and graduate education.
