Training Programs

The Pacific AETC - Nevada serves the educational needs of Nevada’s healthcare providers and organizations who provide care and prevention services in the areas of HIV, Hepatitis C, STIs, and related content. Educational modalities include a range of lecture and interactive presentations and workshops led by expert faculty. Healthcare professionals can learn best practices or receive an update on the latest treatment approaches. The Pacific AETC - Nevada now also offers clinical trainings. Providers enrolled in the clinical preceptorship program will have the opportunity to shadow or work directly with HIV and STI specialists in a variety of clinical environments in Las Vegas. The Pacific AETC - Nevada works directly with these partner sites to tailor programming to suit a participant’s specific educational needs.

Each presentation series is tailored to the needs of the organization. CME and Nursing CE credits are available for most programs.

Clinical Consultation and Technical Assistance

The Pacific AETC - Nevada also offers ongoing support to organizations and individual care providers in the management of patients with HIV. Through a combination of specialist providers, best practices, and current data, we are able to provide extra support to care teams. We offer clinical consultation, case-based group discussions, and technical assistance to build capacity of clinics and organizations to better care for people living with HIV, STIs, and Hepatitis C.
