Clinical Site / Preceptor Approval Policy

The program is responsible for identifying, assessing, approving, and evaluating clinical sites and preceptors collaborating with the UNR Med Physician Assistant Studies Program. The program will ensure that each site (as appropriate) has an executed affiliation agreement between the site and the PA program/university before assigning students for clinical experiences. All clinical sites and/or preceptors must be approved before assigning a student.

The program has a process in place whereby students may suggest sites and/or preceptors to the program. Students are not required to provide or solicit clinical sites or preceptors.
