Laboratory

The Student Health Center lab supports our providers’ diagnoses through testing and analyzing patient specimens (including but not limited to urine, blood, stool collection).  Some testing is completed in the clinic lab, while other testing requires to be sent to external labs. Some lab tests may require additional charges not included in the student health fee.

The lab is available during regular business hours. A Student Health Center nurse or provider will order labs as needed or requested. The lab does not draw outside lab orders.

Fasting lab instructions – Do not eat or drink anything except water for 8 hours prior to the blood draw.
