Welcome to the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Physician Assistant Studies Program.
Thank you for your interest! The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine with its purpose to improve the health and well-being of all Nevadans through excellence in medical education, clinical care, research and commitment to compassion and diversity, offers Physician Assistant (PA) students an excellent opportunity to participate in interprofessional, rigorous, and quality educational experience. With the initial class size of 24, state-of-the-art anatomy lab, simulation lab, clinical professors, and supportive community-based partners to develop and master clinical skills, the program is able to fulfill its intention to prepare PA graduates for a successful and rewarding career. Our goal is to engage, support, prepare, and foster lifelong learning for all students with the purpose of adding highly skilled PAs as primary care clinicians to the underserved and rural communities in Nevada.
