Summary

Megan Almansoori earned her Bachelor's degree in Earth Science and a minor in Chemistry from Michigan State University in 2005, a Master of Arts in Education with a focus in Curriculum and Instructional Leadership from the College of Santa Fe in 2008, and is currently working toward her PhD in Equity and Diversity in Education at UNR. She currently serves as the learning specialist for the first and second year medical students at the School of Medicine. Megan has worked in education since 2005. Prior to taking her position with University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, she was an educator for New Mexico's natural history and science museum, a high school science and math teacher, a learning specialist and curriculum coordinator for a medical school in Arizona, and a coordinator for outreach education and the UNR Med Post-Baccalaureate and BS-MD Programs. She has extensive experience in academic advising as well as curriculum and program design.
