MedFIT

MedFIT provides the incoming class the opportunity to meet with their new classmates and the second year medical students as their Pack Mentors. Students will have insight into the ins and outs of being a first year medical student. MedFIT is designed to prepare incoming medical students for the academically rigorous learning environment of medical school.

This will include:

• Histology Lecture
• Teambuilding Activities
• Team Based Learning
• IRAP
• Art Rounds
• Canvas and Examsoft Intro
• Learning Wellness Resource Center Workshop
• Professionalism
• Mindfulness Lecture
• Careers in Medicine
• Exam with Post-Exam Follow Up

The incoming class will also meet faculty and staff of the School of Medicine and learn about:

• The Savitt Medical Library
• Financial planning
• Sexual Harassment
• Student Organizations and Interest Groups
• Student Health Center
• Student Outreach Clinic
