Student Organizations
Students at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine have many opportunities to participate in activities outside the classroom to enhance their medical education. Medical students are active in all parts of the school, from participating as voting members on all school committees, to providing patient care to the medically indigent, to being student leaders in clubs and organizations. Often, students also start new activities based on their interests. Medical school is training to become a physician as well as a leader in the profession. The School of Medicine offers students many chances to explore and develop their leadership potential.
