The estimated total tuition and fees for the entire 25-month University of Nevada, School of Medicine Physician Assistant Studies Program are provided, though these costs are subject to change. Students will be notified of any changes at least one semester in advance.

Wiegand Fitness Center $180 $135 $315 The fitness center fee is charged to undergraduate, graduate students, and UNR Med students which allows full access to all campus recreation facilities and classes.

Health Insurance (student only) $5007 $4,621 $9,628 Students are required to maintain student health coverage. Students that do not have health insurance that meets the UNR Med requirements will automatically be enrolled in the UNR Med health insurance plan.
Life & Disability Insurance $169 $169 All students at UNR Med are required to have Life & Disability Insurance. This fee cannot be waived.
Sim Lab $700 $700 Year 1 PA students - PA school utilization of the simulation labs.

Tuition refund policy

(ARC-PA 5th A3.12f)

Students are required to submit written notification to the program if they choose to voluntarily withdraw from the program. The date the program receives the written withdrawal notification becomes the official withdrawal date. Tuition refunds may be granted in accordance with the following schedule. All appeals from students who believe that their circumstances warrant exceptions to the following schedule must be in writing and addressed to the program director and registrar. (ARC-PA 5th A3.12f)

Total Cost of Attendance (Class of 2026)

Cost of Attendance (COA) information is provided as an estimate to aid in your financial planning and includes an estimated amount for Room/Board and Personal expenses. The cost of attendance is calculated annually and is subject to change. Tuition is determined each year and is the same for resident and non-resident students to attend the Physician Assistant Studies Program.
