M.D. student organizations

How to get involved as a M.D. student

For M.D. students at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med), student organizations provide a crucial outlet for building community, developing leadership skills, and supplementing their medical education. By participating, M.D. students not only enrich their academic journey but also cultivate a sense of purpose, resilience and empathy — qualities that are key for a fulfilling career in health care. Through these experiences, they grow into compassionate physicians who are prepared to make a positive impact in their communities.
