Culinary and Medical Nutrition Scholarly Concentration
The Scholarly Concentration in Culinary and Medical Nutrition at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) provides medical students with an in-depth understanding of applied nutritional science within clinical practice. Students will engage in research, teaching and the development of culinary medicine curriculum. This program fosters a comprehensive understanding of how nutrition plays a crucial role in disease prevention and treatment. By the end of the program, students will be prepared to integrate nutrition-based interventions into their medical careers, contributing to better patient outcomes and public health.
