Secondary Application

Upon completion of the AMCAS verification process, applications are transmitted to the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine (UNR Med) and applicants are invited to submit a Secondary Application. These applications will be sent out in batches to UNR Med on Tuesdays, based on when applications were submitted to AMCAS.

The Secondary Application fee of $75 is non-refundable; however, UNR Med waives the fee for any candidate approved for the AAMC Financial Assistance Program (FAP)

Note: Secondary Applications should only be submitted by applicants that meet all application requirements. Applicants who submit and do not meet requirements are ineligible for consideration.
