Summary
I focus on uncovering the molecular and cellular mechanisms driving neurodegenerative diseases, with a particular emphasis on Parkinson's disease. I am passionate about studying how mitochondrial dysfunction and synaptic loss contribute to the development and progression of neurodegenerative diseases. My aim is to identify precise molecular targets for therapeutic intervention. This pursuit utilizes both in vitro and in vivo models of neurodegeneration and employs a combination of biochemical, genetic, and behavioral approaches.
