Summary

Dr. Erling is a 1978 graduate of the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He received training as a medical intern at the University of New Mexico followed by a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University of Texas. He completed a year of fellowship training in Anatomic Pathology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, followed by additional training in Neuropathology at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.

Dr. Erling joined LMC in 1984 and is Board Certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He specializes in Genitourinary Pathology and Neuropathology is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine. Dr. Erling is a former Chair of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Sunrise Hospital and is on the active medical staff at Sunrise Hospital, Sunrise Children's Hospital, Mountain View Hospital and Southern Hills Hospital.
