Summary
Neda Etezadi-Amoli helped create the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UNR Med in 2017 and served as the founding Chair. As a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist, she is passionate about women’s health and has compassionately cared for many patients in both the academic and private practice setting.
Dr. Etezadi is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and completed her residency at UTSW Medical Center in Dallas, where she learned from and worked with exceptional leaders and researchers in obstetrics and gynecology. After graduating from residency, she stayed on as faculty at UTSW. With Reno always being “home” she moved back and joined the largest private practice group in the community. She joined UNR Med in 2016 and help develop and co-direct the OB-GYN Clerkship. Dr. Etezadi has a passion for medical education. She has been an active member of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO). She founded the Office of Career Advising for UNR Med in 2019 and enjoys working with students throughout their medical education.
