Summary

Dr. Pitani graduated from Andhra Medical College, India in 2001 and finished residency training at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine in 2006. She joined as faculty primarily in Out Patient medicine. Her primary job responsibilities include being the Ambulatory clinic director for the Residents and actively involved in their education as well as the medical student training in Preventive care and Primary care practice. She is also trained in complex disease managementlike HIV care and also handling chronic pain in her practice.

Quality improvement is one of her main interests, and actively engages Residents in these projects while encouraging growth mind set in her learners.
