Resident Leadership Council

The Resident Leadership Council (RLC) main purpose is to represent and advocate for the medical residents and fellows throughout their training at UNR MED. The Leardership Council helps identify and address issues and concerns related to their work and learning environment. RLC leadership serves as a communication link between residents/fellows and administration. The RLC participates in the ongoing review of residency curriculum and policies discussed during the Graduate Medical Education Committee on behalf of all the residents/fellows. The RLC is also responsible for addressing wellbeing-related services and issues. They may also participate in the organization of social and well-being events throughout the year.

Mission Statement

The mission of the resident leadership committee is to be the voice of residents and to influence policy change among graduate medical education in Reno, Nevada.
