In keeping with the American Medical Association's Graduate Medical Education Directory and the ACGME, the word resident will be used to designate all graduate medical education trainees (residents and fellows) in University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education programs.
Throughout this Resident Handbook, the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine may be referred to as UNR Med.
