Aaron Dieringer, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor, Family Medicine

I am native Nevadan born and raised here in Reno. Initially, I had career in aviation flying professionally but found I did not enjoy the career side of flying at which point I returned to school and found my passion for medicine. Primary care was always an interest of mine in school and I knew I wanted to be a family medicine physician early on in my education. During residency, I found a love for teaching which led me to my current position here at UNR Med. I am currently involved in medical student, resident, and physician assistant education as well as full spectrum family medicine including obstetrics and couldn't be happier with my position here at UNR Med. Like most people in this area when not working I enjoy hiking and camping in the many areas our state as to offer and I am involved in flying small airplanes, hot air balloons, and gliders, keeping my passion for aviation as a hobby.
