About us

The Office of Medical Research (OMR) seeks to streamline the research process by offering comprehensive support through all facets of the research lifecycle. We provide pre-award and post-award grant management, act as a liaison for equipment and facility needs, coordinate safety training to maintain compliance and manage recharge centers to support research operations. Our goal is to empower researchers to conduct ground-breaking research by delivering dependable and efficient administrative services from project inception to completion.

Medical Research is proud to work with a talented group of researchers to advance the future of research. With over 35 active labs made up of prominent faculty, postdocs, and graduate and undergraduate students, and groundbreaking discoveries in smooth muscle biology, infectious disease diagnostics, muscular dystrophy, and cardiac arrhythmias, research labs at UNR Med are making life-changing advances in biomedical and translational research.
