Street Medicine Clinic

The Street Medicine Clinic, founded in 2024, is a community partnership that brings essential medical care directly to Reno’s unhoused population. By meeting people where they are and creating accessible points of connection in the community, the clinic helps reduce barriers to care and build trust through consistent, compassionate outreach.
Led by UNR Med students and supported by volunteer physicians and clinicians, the Street Medicine Clinic operates in collaboration with organizations such as the Eddy House to identify clinic locations and respond to evolving community needs. Care is provided with a focus on dignity, consistency and connection.
Clinic services and support may include:
- Basic medical assessments and care
- Health education and counseling
- Referrals to community and medical resources
- Distribution of food, water and hygiene supplies
These services are designed to address immediate health needs while helping build pathways to longer-term care and support.
