Overview

Clinical research advances health care practice and is responsible for the techniques, medications, and devices we use today. The 2nd annual symposium will present diverse clinical research topics that address implications for health care, promote thoughtful discussion, and foster collaboration among health care providers and researchers. This event, jointly sponsored by Renown Health Office of Clinical Research and the University of Nevada Medical School, Department of Internal Medicine will offer attendees the opportunity to explore the innovative health care research happening at Renown Health and across our community. The day will offer a participant recruitment workshop, presentations and networking opportunities with research professionals who will share their trending topics, advances, and challenges.

Learning Objectives

Following participation in this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss current trends, innovations, and challenges impacting clinical research and healthcare delivery
  • Evaluate current clinical research findings to understand their implications for patient outcomes
  • Describe the services provided by the Renown Health Office of Clinical Research and how to access and use them to support patient health care options

This is a live CME event, with a virtual or in-person option for attendance.
